Syrah Reserve

Syrah Reserve

100% Syrah

$7,290

This Reserva Syrah comes from the Maipo Valley, from vineyards planted in granitic and clay-loam foothill soils. The coastal terroir, influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, experiences mists and fresh breezes that allow for slow and complete ripening, ideal for Syrah to develop its spicy and fruity profile.

Hand-harvested in the second week of April, the wine is vinified with a 3-day cold maceration to enhance its aromas. 40% of the blend is aged in used French and American oak barrels for 6 months, which adds a layer of complexity and structure, softening the tannins.

The wine displays aromas of black fruits, black pepper, violets, and tobacco. On the palate, it offers great freshness, with fruity flavors framed by an acidity that provides tension and fine, smooth tannins. It is a medium-bodied wine, with weight, and finishes with a long, fresh finish where the fruit reappears. It is recommended to serve at 17°C, making it a great option to pair with gourmet burgers or grilled beef skewers.
