PROJECT
In 1998, the Toro Harnecker family, iconic producers of glass bottles for the wine industry in Chile, decided to realize their dream of using their bottles to bottle their own wine.
They decided that the hills of Chocalán, in the coastal part of the Maipo Valley, were perfect for producing high-quality wines.

In our wines, we have the character and elegance of the Maipo Valley, and the freshness of the Chilean coast.
Chocalán is the name of the town where we are located. Sustainably expressing the stories of the land, the people, and the place we inhabit is a fundamental part of our project.
At Viña Chocalán, we respect the place where we are located. Not only ecologically, but also humanly.
We employ spouses, siblings, cousins, families who have worked in Chocalán for generations, forming an essential component in winemaking: the influence of people.
We are committed to the SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT of our wines and hold the Sustainability certificate granted by Vinos de Chile through its R&D Consortium.
Since 2006, we have been certified with ISO 9001 - QUALITY and 14001 - ENVIRONMENT standards, respectively, and in 2007 we obtained our Clean Production Agreement (APL) compliance certificate, which was validated by various government bodies in the country, such as: the Undersecretariat of Public Health, the Superintendency of Sanitary Services, the National Environmental Commission, and the Agricultural and Livestock Service.
