Two unique wines, created to honor equally exceptional lives. Crafting them is no easy task: it requires dedication, patience, and a deep connection to our land. We traverse the vineyards, carefully selecting the rows that will give rise to these blends, seeking to reflect in each bottle the essence and personality of those who inspired this legacy.
The result are wines that embody our family history: awarded icons, crafted with the same love, respect, and passion with which it all began.

Guillermo is an assemblage that captures the essence of the coastal terroir of the Maipo Valley. The vineyards are located on granite and clay foothill soils, which provide a base of minerality and structure. The climate, with its misty mornings and strong Pacific influence, ensures a slow and elegant ripening, key to the complexity of this wine.

74% Cabernet Franc, 17% Merlot, 5% Carmenere, 4% Petit Verdot.
This blend is a true reflection of the coastal terroir of the Maipo Valley, where the vineyards are located on piedmont soils with sandy-loam and clay textures. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the Maipo River results in morning mists that moderate temperatures, allowing the grapes to achieve a balanced and elegant ripeness.
In 1998, the Toro Harnecker family, renowned for their history as glass bottle producers for the wine industry in Chile, decided to take another step and fulfill a long-cherished dream: bottling their own wine in their own bottles.
This is how the idea for Viña Chocalán was born, in the gentle hills of the coastal area of the Maipo Valley, a place that met the ideal conditions to create wines of exceptional origin and quality.
