Reserve Chardonnay

Reserve Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay.

$7,290

This Chardonnay Reserva comes from the Maipo Valley, from vineyards planted in alluvial soils with a sandy loam texture. The coastal terroir, influenced by the Pacific Ocean and the breezes of the Maipo River, creates an ideal microclimate for slow ripening that preserves the acidity and freshness of the grape.

Harvesting is done manually in the second week of March. 20% of the wine ferments and ages for 2 to 3 months in fourth-use French oak barrels with battonage twice a week, while the remaining 80% is kept in stainless steel. This mixed technique and the absence of malolactic fermentation achieve a balance between creaminess and freshness.

Pale golden in color, the nose offers aromas of ripe pears, pineapple, and honey, complemented by notes of nuts and a subtle toasted background. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with ripe fruit and tropical flavors, and a balanced acidity that gives it a long and fresh finish. It is suggested to pair with a chicken and mushroom quiche or with pil pil prawns.
