31 May Viña Chocalan Renews Its Certification Under the National Sustainability Code of Wines of Chile
Viña Chocalan has successfully renewed its certification under the National Sustainability Code for the fifth consecutive cycle. This voluntary initiative, promoted by Wines of Chile, aims to guide the Chilean wine industry toward sustainable wine production, adhering to high social, environmental, and quality standards.
This time, we passed all areas—orange, green, and red. Each color represents a different domain: green focuses on vineyard management, orange on corporate and social aspects, and red on winery operations.
In the latest certification cycle, evaluated by an external auditor from Ecocert Group, Viña Chocalan met the requirements across all areas with a 97% compliance rate.
This certification is renewed every two years and remains valid until May 2026. Viña Chocalan has participated in this process since 2015, consistently meeting the requirements to achieve certification.
We remain committed to improving our management practices and advancing toward more sustainable and environmentally friendly production.
