Vitrum Blend is the maximum expression of a blend from the coastal zone of the Maipo Valley. It comes from hillsides and foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range, with granitic soils of clay and sandy loam texture that add complexity. The coastal climate, with its morning mist, allows for slow ripening, resulting in a wine of great concentration and elegance.

The different varieties are harvested by hand from the first to the last week of April. Vinification is precise, with berry selection, cold maceration for 7 days and separate fermentations per variety. Aging for 12 to 14 months in French barrels, half new and half second use, builds a wine with great structure and aging potential.

Deep dark red in color, it offers a nose rich in black fruit, tobacco and spice, with a background of dried herbs and vanilla notes. The palate is expressive and fruity, with notes of cherry and blackberry over vibrant, balanced acidity. It is a concentrated wine, with powerful but soft tannins. We recommend decanting and serving at 15 to 16°C, ideal for a slow-cooked strip roast or a platter of intense cheeses such as Roquefort.
