Reserve Chardonnay

Reserve Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay.

$6.590

This Chardonnay Reserva comes from the Maipo Valley, from vineyards planted in alluvial soils with a sandy loam texture. The coastal terroir, with the influence of the Pacific Ocean and the breezes of the Maipo River, creates an ideal microclimate for slow ripening that preserves the acidity and freshness of the grapes.

Harvesting is done manually during the second week of March. Twenty percent of the wine is fermented and aged for 2 to 3 months in fourth-use French oak barrels with twice-weekly battonage, while the remaining 80% is kept in stainless steel. This mixed technique and the absence of malolactic fermentation achieve a balance between creaminess and freshness.

Pale golden in color, the nose offers aromas of ripe pears, pineapple and honey, complemented by nutty notes and a subtle toasted background. The palate is medium-bodied, with ripe fruit and tropical flavors and balanced acidity for a long, fresh finish. Suggest pairing with chicken and mushroom quiche or pil pil shrimp.
