$9.990

Born in Melipilla, Maipo Valley, this Origen Carménère is the product of a unique coastal terroir, with soils of granitic and clay origin. The influence of the nearby Pacific Ocean and the Maipo River translates into mist and cool breezes, conditions that allow for slow and complete ripening, essential for this variety to reveal its full potential.

The grapes are harvested by hand between the last week of April and the first week of May. Vinification includes a 7-day cold maceration to intensify the color and aromas. Eighty percent of the wine is then aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, a process that confers complexity, toasted notes and an elegant structure.

This wine shows aromas of black fruits, black pepper and vanilla, with notes of toast and an earthy background that gives it a complex character. The palate is balanced, with a rich texture, blackberry and cardamom flavors, and soft, velvety tannins that lead to a long finish. Best served at 15 to 16°C, ideal with charquicán with fried egg or empanadas de prieta.
