Amber Chardonnay

Amber Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay.

$7.990

This expressive Chardonnay originates in Melipilla, Maipo Valley, in foothill vineyards with granitic and clay loam soils. The maritime influence, marked by morning mists and cool breezes, is essential to preserve the acidity and aromatic freshness that characterizes this wine.

Harvested by hand in the second week of March, its vinification is particular: 20% of the blend is fermented and aged for 2 to 3 months in French barrels with battonage, providing volume and complexity. The remaining 80% remains in stainless steel to maintain its fruity character. It is important to note that it does not undergo malolactic fermentation, thus preserving its vibrant acidity.

Pale golden in color, the nose offers aromas of ripe pears, pineapple and honey, along with hints of nuts and a subtle toasted background. The palate is medium-bodied, balanced by a fresh acidity that highlights ripe fruit and tropical flavors, leading to a long, refreshing finish. Best served chilled at 10-12°C, perfect with a chupe de locos or a cognac chicken with duchess potatoes.
