Between 50% and 60% of the blend is aged for 6 months in fifth-use French and American oak barrels, a technique that seeks complexity and smoothness without overpowering the fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDeep ruby in color, the nose presents aromas of black fruits, plum, spices, and cedar. On the palate, it is a well-balanced wine, with soft and round tannins, rich acidity, and notes of flowers and black pepper, rounded off by a soft liqueured and vanilla touch.
